CALATHEA MAKOYUNA aka PRAYER PLANT
Calathea Makoyuna is also known as The Peacock Plant for its brightly coloured foliage. Combined with a hurricane glass bowl, some moss to keep the soil damp, and a few accent rocks.
In the evenings, this plant closes up which has also earned it the nickname of Prayer Plant.
6.75"w X 4.25h"
18" tall with plant
Calathea Makoyana needs bright, indirect sunlight, temperatures of 60-75°F (16-24°C), and high humidity.
Water when the soil surface starts to dry, fertilize with a diluted, balanced fertilizer (like Plant Vitamins) every 2-4 weeks, and pinch back the stems to create a fuller, bushy plant.
This is an extremely easy to care for plant. Bright light and water every 2 weeks, when the soil starts to feel dry but not bone dry.
