The GREEN LOVE Studio

Coming Soon

The Green Love Studio is a quiet, evolving expression of a lifelong connection to creativity and the natural world.

Rooted in a deep love of gardens, seasons, and organic form, the studio brings together botanical art and abstract exploration in a way that feels both grounded and intuitive. It is my laboratory, the journey is shared on my Instagram page, the pieces that pass muster, and I am happy with and proud of, come to The Green Love Studio to be sold.

Each piece begins not with a fixed outcome, but with observation.  And exploration. Of a leaf’s curve, the looseness of wild growth, the subtle tension between structure and freedom in nature.

Working across mixed media, I work with watercolour, crayon, ink, pastel and pencil to create layered compositions that feel alive with movement and texture. Watercolour establishes a softness and fluidity, allowing colour to bloom and shift organically on the page. Ink introduces contrast and intention - fine lines, marks, and gestures that define or disrupt.

Pencil adds quiet detail and structure, while crayon brings an unexpected richness and tactile quality, often anchoring the work with depth and warmth.

Botanical elements frequently appear, though not always in literal form. A stem may dissolve into abstraction, petals may become shape and rhythm, and natural forms are often simplified or reimagined. This interplay between representation and abstraction is central to the studio’s voice - capturing not just what a plant looks like, but what it feels like to experience it.

The work is both meditative and expressive. Some pieces are delicate and restrained, built through transparency and light. Others are bold and gestural, embracing imperfection and spontaneity. Together, they reflect a practice that honours both control and release - Nature's ongoing dialogue between order and chaos.  A pattern I see reflected in my own life.

At its core, The Green Love Studio is about connection: to nature, to memory, and to the quiet moments of noticing that often go overlooked.

It is a space where botanical beauty is not only observed, but interpreted—translated into marks, colour, and form that invite the viewer to slow down and see the natural world differently.
