Heidi Ehlers is the founder of GREEN LOVE, a platform that brings together
gardeners, designers, and creatives who draw inspiration from nature.

 

She has been gardening since she was eight, shaped by her German family’s
deep-rooted love of gardening and tending the land.

After attending courses and then Master Classes at FlowerSchool New York,
she worked first in Garden Renovation and Rehabilitation, then spent a brief
stint with a local florist where she was inspired daily by the environment, and 
her talented colleagues. 

GREEN LOVE was born as a company that did small and large scale
Preserved Moss + Fern Wall installations, our smallest, 1 square foot, our largest, 10,000 square feet.  We did that across Ontario for 5 years until the social distancing restrictions imposed in response to COVID made it impossible to continue. 

 

After an invitation to contribute to a local landscape designers projects as a Planting Designer, Heidi spent the next
5 years doing planting design for ever increasingly exciting and challenging projects in the
South Georgian Bay area. 

 

Before launching GREEN LOVE, Heidi spent more than 30 years in advertising—first as a copywriter, then as a Creative Director, owner of a small design studio and then a pivot into recruiting and coaching talented creatives - Junior to the most Senior.  Thanks to Zoom, worldwide.  

 

Through GARDEN · STUDIO · COMMUNITY · LIFE, Heidi hopes to build a space to share ideas, resources, and experiences; highlight inspiring gardens and their creators; and celebrate creativity in all its forms, grounded in the world of plants and design - GREEN LOVE .
